Police found the suspect vehicle in a commercial parking lot, engaged their emergency lights and parked head on with the suspect vehicle to conduct a traffic stop.

Police said that the suspect vehicle then drove into the police vehicle twice before leaving. The police vehicle was damaged but the officer driving was not hurt.

Officers pursued the vehicle westbound on Highway 46 towards Pilot Butte, and a tire deflation device was set up near the intersection of Highway 362 and Highway 46. The tires of the suspect vehicle were flattened and the vehicle came to a stop.

Police said that two women and a man were arrested at the scene.

The 33-year-old woman is facing charges that include assault of a police officer with a weapon and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Police did not list charges for any of the other occupants of the vehicle but added that their investigation was ongoing.
