While I have zero time for those involved in ArriveCan, including the Liberal government, I found it very rich for the Speaker of the House, Greg Fergus, to berate GC Strategies partner Kristian Firth in the manner he did after Firth was held in contempt of Parliament for refusing to answer questions to a parliamentary committee studying ArriveCan.

During question period or other settings, not one Liberal will directly answer a question posed to them! Double standard.

FERGUS FUNNY
OMG, I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw House Speaker Greg Fergus standing up and looking so indignant when he admonished GC Strategies partner Kristian Firth about not answering questions put to him by the parliamentary committee.

Then again, Mr. Fergus is a Liberal so he’s probably got acting classes from the PM about how to look like he’s doing something. If this were to be done during question period, Fergus would never get a chance to sit as he’d be “reprimanding” Liberal ministers and in particular Trudeau for not answering questions non-stop.

LIBERALS LEAVING EPIC MESS
At this point, it is apparent that the Liberals are intending to leave a financial bomb for the Conservatives.
They aren’t concerned about the upcoming election, as it is out of reach, so best leave an epic mess to clean up.
Then they can join the chorus of howls about how awful those Conservatives are to remove all those government handouts.

STILL IN CANADA?
So, to name only some, here in Canada, we’re looking at Nakba Day (Peel District School Board), Al-Quds Day and Halal mortgages that comply with Islamic “Sharia law”.
I’m beginning to feel like I fell asleep in Canada and woke up in, I don’t know, Syria, Iraq or somewhere in Afghanistan.
Canada’s so-called leaders better wake up. We are not living in the Middle East so let’s stop acting like we are.
